Each team member's share is calculated as (their hours worked ÷ total hours worked by everyone) × total tip pool. Someone who worked twice as many hours as another team member receives roughly twice the tip amount.

Each role is assigned a point value reflecting its typical contribution to service, for example Server = 3, Bartender = 2.5, Host = 1.5, and Busser = 1. Each member's share equals their role's points divided by the total points of everyone sharing the pool, multiplied by the total tips.
